Kat Von D London Calling Review

So for Christmas my mum kindly bought me the Kat Von D beauty London calling set as she knew I wanted to try out some of her products, let me tell you this the products in this set are mini’s but they are so perfect if you are wanting to try out the brand without investing mass amounts of money to find out the product is just not for you.

Within the set you get 3 mini’s of Kat’s best selling products a everlasting liquid lipstick, tattoo liner and a studded kiss lipstick, this set was limited to the UK when Kat first launched her makeup line here.

The product I was most excited to try was her tattoo liner in the shade trooper because I have herd SO many amazing things about this liner from the beauty world, I was literally shook to the ground when I first tried this liner my wing was so neat and the best I have ever done it. I get a lot of questions on how I do my liner so well and the answer is the tattoo liner from Kat Von D is it a staple in my make up  kit now.

The product I am dying to get my hands on of more colours is the everlasting liquid lipsticks in this set I got the shade double dare which is this very pretty dusty rose pink, something I would have never bought for myself. The lipstick feels so creamy as you apply it and it drys down completely matte to the touch, and dare I say it this is one of the my favourite formulas I have tried of liquid lipsticks with some they crumble and loose pigment over time. But with Kat’s the lipstick stays on all day long even after eating, one thing I LIVE  for with this product is that is feels like you are wearing nothing on your lips at all.

Last but not least is the studded kiss lipstick in the shade Lotia this shade is really popular within the Kat Von D line, I have to say this lipstick is tiny as hell but super cute and perfect for travel! the shade is similar to double dare just slightly darker than I would say. The lipstick packaging is to die for I love the studded affect it has, as for the formula of the product it is very creamy but and glides onto your lips nicely its not completely matte but its not glossy it kinda has a satin finish to it.

Overall I am a massive fan of Kat’s make up after trying these products not to mention they are completely cruelty free and vegan which makes them ever so more magical and amazing, if you are wanting to try out Kat’s brand I would totally recommend investing in mini’s first just to see if they work for you.
